I can see you’ll never be the one for me
As I will never be a part of you…
But to lose you will be to lose a part of me
which in times of need I’ve often tried to do

Well the more time that we spend the more you grow into me
and the more I wonder how it all will end
Well somewhere down the line there has to be
A place in someone’s heart for only me

But until that time it seems a crime to try and fare
With someone for whom themselves they really care
and to lose you would be to lose a part of me
Which is what I now believe I need to do…
